Privacy policy

We collect what we need to run the event, and nothing more. There is no advertising or tracking technology on this site, and your data is never sold.

Who processes your data

Sorcerers at the Core, the organiser of Siege at the Core 2026. Questions about this policy or about your data: info@sorcerersatthecore.com.

Which data, and why

When you register, we process your name, your email address, your country, your Discord name if you enter one, the email address of your Sorcery account, the tickets and add-ons you chose, and your catering needs (vegetarian, allergies). We use that data to organise the event: to confirm your registration, to put you on the official event listings, to plan seats and meals, and to contact you about practical matters. The legal basis is the agreement you enter into when you register. For allergies, the basis is your own choice to tell us, so we can take them into account.

When you sign up for updates, we process your name and email address to send you news about the event. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the link in every email.

When you pay, the payment is handled by Stripe. We see the amount, the status of the payment and the payment method, but never your full card or bank details. We keep payment records because accounting law requires it.

Photos and video taken at the event may show you. We use them to report on the event on this website, on social media and on Discord. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing what the event is like. If you would rather not be shown, tell us and we will take that into account, and remove a published photo on request.

In addition, the servers that run this website keep technical logs, such as the time of a request and the IP address. That is part of how every website works and is kept secure, and it is not used to recognise or track you.

Who else sees your data

We work with a few service providers. They process data on our instructions and only for the purpose described here.

  • Stripe processes your payment.
  • Resend sends our emails, such as your confirmation, and keeps the list of people who signed up for updates.
  • Cloudflare hosts this website (Cloudflare Pages) and the database with the registrations (Cloudflare D1).
  • Curiosa, the publisher of Sorcery: Contested Realm, runs the official event listings on sorcerytcg.com. We use the email address of your Sorcery account to add you to the events you registered for, so your results are linked to your account.

There are no other parties. Your data is never sold, rented out or used for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Registration data, including catering needs, is kept until one year after the event, so until December 2027, and then deleted.
  • Invoicing and payment data is kept for seven years, because accounting law requires it.
  • Your sign-up for updates is kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

This website does not install cookies for visitors, and there is no consent banner because none is needed. Nothing is stored in your browser to recognise you on a further visit.

The only cookie is a login cookie for the admin area, which only the organisers use. It is strictly necessary to keep them logged in and is not used for anything else.

When you pay, you are sent to Stripe's payment page, which uses its own cookies to process the payment securely.

Your rights

You have the right to see your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict the processing and to object to it. One email to info@sorcerersatthecore.com is enough, and we respond within a month. You can also update your own contact details and catering needs via the link in your confirmation email.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.

Changes

If anything changes about the website or about the way data is processed, we update this page. The date below marks the most recent change. The rules for tickets, refunds and the event itself are in the terms and conditions.
