Casters wanted for Siege at the Core 2026
02 October 2026

Siege at the Core 2026 runs from December 4 to 6 at Quartier Papier in Zaventem, and the entire event will be livestreamed. We are looking for two types of casters:
- one head caster to run the broadcast
- several guest casters who each jump in for a few matches
A stream is only as good as the person explaining the board to everyone who is not in the room. That is where you come in.
Take the main desk as head caster
The head caster carries the stream throughout the weekend. You are the voice people recognise when they open the stream. You will be there for the matches that matter. Above all else you will carry the Top 8 on Saturday, where the Grand Contest will be decided. When a game runs long, you keep the desk together.
When a viewer joins halfway through a match, you make sure they know what is going on within a minute.
This is the role we most need to fill.
Be a guest caster for a few matches
A guest caster takes on a few matches: one round, one pod, one match you happen to care about. You sit down, call the match, share your insights, and hand it back to the head caster.
If you have never cast before, this might be the place to start. It is also a good excuse to talk about the archetype you have been grinding all year, or the cards and strategies you know inside out.
What makes a good caster
You know Sorcery well, you enjoy talking about the game, and you are comfortable commentating while you think.
We are looking for English-speaking casters to join the livestream team. You do not need to be a professional caster, but you should be able to follow what is happening on the board and keep a conversation going as the game develops.
For the head caster, some experience behind a microphone is important, and we will ask you to share something you have cast before.
For a guest caster, experience matters a lot less. A recording of you analysing or casting any game is already a good indicator.
You will not have to worry about the technical side of things. We will handle the cameras, overlays, and the stream itself.
The weekend
Three days in Zaventem, the final European Grand Contest of 2026. The entire schedule is already online.
In short:
- Friday: Booster Draft. Doors at 17:30, first pack at 19:00, five rounds of Swiss.
- Saturday: the Constructed Grand Contest. Doors at 09:00, round 1 at 09:30, seven rounds of Swiss and a Top 8. The top cut starts around 20:00, finishing at around 23:00.
- Sunday: Sealed. Doors at 09:00, deckbuilding at 09:30, six rounds of Swiss, finishing around 18:00.
The Saturday Top 8 will be the main focus of the stream.
Compensation
That depends on the role and on how much of the weekend you can make yourself available for. We would rather talk it through with you than put a number on a webpage, so get in touch and we can let you know what is possible.
Interested? Get in touch
Mail info@sorcerersatthecore.com, or message us on our Discord.
Tell us who you are, and whether you are interested in the head caster role or a few guest matches. For the head caster role, please let us know if you can commit to the full weekend. For guest casting, tell us which days and roughly how many matches you would be available for.
Send a link to something we can watch or listen to as well. Never cast before? No problem. Just tell us. We would still love to hear from you.
