Siege at the Core 2025, now on YouTube

Remember Siege at the Core 2025? It was the launch weekend of Gothic. From December 5 to 7 last year, players in Zaventem got their hands on the new set for the very first time, and almost every card on the table was one they had never played before.

Starting today, you can watch the whole Saturday main event back on YouTube: ten videos, every round, with full commentary.

The Saturday main event

Saturday was the heart of the weekend. Six rounds of Swiss Sealed, with every player building from a six-booster pool full of cards they had seen for the first time the day before. After the Swiss, the best eight put their sealed decks away, sat down for a draft, and played the Top 8 with those brand new decks. On the line: the Pietro Désiro alters.

The draft, live on stream

Between the Swiss and the Top 8, one of the top players drafted live on stream. The draft video follows every pick through three boosters of Gothic, including the cards that were let go, all the way to the deck that went into the elimination rounds.

Niek Van Lissum and Robert Fitzgerald Bellone recorded commentary for every match. They walk you through the key moments, the card choices, and how players on only their second day with Gothic found their way through pools packed with new cards.

The Saturday is the first of three series from Siege at the Core 2025. The Sunday Constructed and the Friday Sealed follow in the same playlist, so follow the channel if you do not want to miss them.

Your turn in December

This year you can sit at the table yourself. Siege at the Core 2026 runs from Friday December 4 to Sunday December 6 in Zaventem, and it is the final European Grand Contest of 2026.
