A Grand Contest with Grand Prizes

This year Siege at the Core is a Grand Contest, and that comes with more stature, more opportunities and more prizes!

A Grand Contest is the battleground of the best Sorcery players and they duke it out to take home their spoils.

Siege brings players together from across a wider region, and the prize pool reflects that.

Erik’s Curiosa supplies Grand Contest kits to reward the top players. These kits include beautiful Silver Bullet promos illustrated by Marta Molina, and alternate artwork Croaking Swamp promos by Caio Calazans.

One foil Silver Bullet will be awarded to the winner of each day of Siege at the Core. Non-foil Silver Bullets will be awarded to other top-ranking players.

Each participant of the Grand Contest event on Saturday will receive a Croaking Swamp promo, as far as provided by Erik’s Curiosa.

Grand Contest promo cards: Silver Bullet, Silver Bullet foil, Croaking Swamp.

In addition to these stunning promos, there will be two Gothic Print Sheets for our champions. An Exceptional Sheet for the winner of the Saturday Constructed event and an Ordinary Sheet for the winner of the Sunday Sealed event.

Print sheets are uncut sheets of Sorcery cards from an early stage of the production process, and we are excited to have these pieces of Sorcery history added to Siege at the Core’s prize pool.

Gather your pack

Gather your pack, because the 2026 convention promo, Grey Wolves illustrated by Jeff Menges, will be at Siege at the Core!

Originally meant for conventions and events attended by Erik’s Curiosa staff, these promos are hard to come by in Europe.

Erik’s Curiosa provides Siege at the Core with these special wolves and they will be handed out to all players of the Saturday main event, as far as provided. Awooo!

Artist’s additions

Just like previous editions, Siege at the Core will host Sorcery artists throughout the weekend.

They will be at their booths signing cards, selling prints and telling the tales behind every brushstroke.

At the time this article is released, only two of the artists have been revealed. We cannot go too much into detail, but there will be prizes donated by the artists, both in the event prize pool and for the daily raffles.

Keep an eye on our news page so you do not miss any upcoming reveals!

Pietro Desirò makes his return

Pietro Desirò made stunning alters of the four Cores for the first edition of Siege at the Core. Last year he altered five more artifacts, including the Philosopher’s Stone and Ring of Morrigan.

This year he will return to Zaventem and bring four brand new alters for the top players of the Grand Contest on Saturday.

What are these alters? You will have to wait and see, but for now here’s a sneak peek…
